Veteran Owned Business in the heart of Bovey, MN.
To continue a life of service, Doodads & Whatnots was founded as a way to serve the residents of Bovey, MN with convenience, fair prices, and as much selection as possible. The city continues to change, and Doodads will continue to grow with it, in one capacity or another.
In October, 2025, updates to the store include a new layout, new website, new offerings, online shopping, and delivery. I'll be adding gift wrapping options, and a host of other small changes I hope you will enjoy. My goal is to offer convenience and value to the residents of Bovey and Coleraine, as well as other local communities and the online market.
Sustainability
D&W sources products from liquidation markets like Upliquidation, Marketplace Liquidation, and others, through bulk purchases. Sourcing this way allows me to bring better prices to customers while recycling what would otherwise end up in landfills, eternal storage, or in the hands of larger and more expensive retailers.
Community
It is my firm belief and hope that the City of Bovey is in a recovery and renewal for thriving small-town business. Bringing this store to the community is my way of contributing toward that goal, and to make affordable offerings to the community.

Payment and Delivery Info
Flexible options for you to choose
At checkout, you will notice a cash payment option. Yes, you can put things in your cart, complete your order, and choose to pay cash at pickup or local delivery. This gives you the best of both worlds, shopping online and paying cash instead of card.
You can purchase your items online and pick them up at the store, or get your order delivered to your home or worksite (Bovey and Coleraine addresses only).
Doodads and Whatnots does not offer shipping at this time - but, if you see something you like, give me a call and we'll figure out a way to get it to you. At the Secure Checkout page, you‘ll see the ordered item’s description, its price, and delivery time. Delivery times vary depending on your selected delivery address, availability of your items, and the time of the day you place your order.

Open Hours
Due to other commitments through the Winter and Spring, the solid store hours are Monday - Friday, 4pm to 9pm, except the first Wednesday of the month, and weekends from 2-10pm. Closed Wednesday evenings and random Sundays. Open on holidays, even the major ones.
